The Amazon website may be the most traversed e-commerce site on the web, and because of that they tend to have a bit of an issue with checkouts that has prevented consumers from successfully adding next generation consoles such as the Playstation 5, the Xbox Series X and the Nintendo Switch OLED to the cart. If you’ve experienced this on one of their drops, trust me, you’re not alone!

When is the next Amazon Restock Drop Coming?
Amazon has posted verbiage on their PS5 and Xbox Series X pages that states that Prime members will be able to purchase the consoles at some point through Dec. 31, 2021. I know, this is just not specific enough information. But it’s all we’ve got.
So yes, a drop is all but guaranteed to happen in the next week. The bad news is we don’t know exactly when, or if it will be in time for pre-Christmas shipments and deliveries. But here is the good news…
I will be tracking them day and night so that you do not have to spend every waking moment online looking at their site. When their restock goes live, I will immediately tweet it out with direct links to the product/s.

So How Do Amazon restocks Work?
For most Amazon drops, you need to be an Amazon Prime member, so head on over and sign up. Now that that is done, you are ready to start participating in their online restocks. To maximize your chances for success, there are a few things you need to know.
Stock availability does not mean you will get one
With all drops, it is first come first serve.
Even if thousands of consoles are being sold, thousands more people are always attempting to purchase them. This massive traffic spike results in a site glitch that causes failures when adding to cart.
On the last drop, I decided to run a test for you so that I could document my success during this glitch and accurately report back to you how to get past it!
How to Bypass Amazon’s Add to Cart Glitch And Actually Score a Console
So you’ve clicked on the product link on my Twitter page, but you have received an error saying something went wrong… or you were taken to your cart and it’s empty.
From that point, here is what I did to successfully add a PS5 to cart and checkout
Add the product to one of my Amazon lists (allows quick adding to cart)
Click “View Your List”
Spam (repeatedly hit) “Add To Cart” until it does so successfully
Upon success adding to cart, checkout immediately
When thousands of attempts are being made at one time, the goal is to attempt to add to cart as many times and as often as possible. That way, if an opening is there to purchase, you can hopefully hit it.
Attempts to add to cart from your list can be made more times in any given amount of time than attempting to add to cart from the product page, seeing failure on the next page, hitting back, then trying again. This method has resulted in success for me and thousands of my followers this year.
Hopefully this will help the many of you that have done all of the right things on previous Amazon drops but have been having trouble finding success.
What else can I do to increase my chances for success?
There are a few key actions that can be done to increase your chances for success on any restock that happens.
Sign into each big retailer early each morning. Signing in during a drop can be a huge waste of time and can cost you your success as others checkout.
Have your payment set up and ready to go on each website. You don’t want to be scrambling and wasting time during a drop.
Follow + Turn ON @SupplyNinja Twitter Notifications. It is imperative that you receive all of the alerts that I tweet out… on time.
